TGL Season 2 is picking up right where we left off, with New York Golf Club and Atlanta Drive GC going shot-for-shot at SoFi Center in the first match of the new season.
The season opener gets underway at 3 p.m. ET Sunday on ABC, the first time TGL will air on a broadcast network.

Finals Series Rematch
Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele are in action for New York, while Atlanta sends the trio of Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover and Billy Horschel.
This is a rematch of last year’s Finals Series, in which Atlanta won the SoFi Cup with back-to-back one-point victories that came down to the final hole in the best-of-three championship.
New York, which caught fire down the stretch to sneak into the postseason as the No. 4 seed, looked poised to tie the series at 1-1 carrying a 3-0 lead through 11 holes in the second match. Atlanta then ripped off four points over the final four holes to claim the trophy, with Billy Horschel sinking the decisive birdie putt to put a bow on Season 1.
Sunday’s match will include a banner-raising ceremony for Atlanta, with its accomplishment clear for all to see in the rafters at SoFi Center. That should add even more motivation for a New York team that came up just a few shots short of the title in 2025.
Both teams will be taking the first crack at a renovated GreenZone, with TGL making changes based on data and player feedback from Season 1. The putting surface will be significantly larger, and five new hole locations have been added to bring the total number to 12.
Two greenside bunkers are now 50% larger as well, giving players more room to show off in the sand.
While players will adjust to those tweaks in practice sessions and warm-ups, they’re now plenty familiar with a majority of holes and know what to expect from the crowd and energy at SoFi Center.
All that’s left to do is tee it up and show out, as the top two teams from last year start the party for Season 2.
