About Ben
Ben Griffin's career is a reminder that the road to professional golf can take unexpected turns. After starring at the University of North Carolina, Griffin turned professional in 2018 and worked his way through the developmental tours. At one point, the demands of professional golf led him to step away from competition and take a job as a mortgage loan officer. His return to the game reflected a renewed commitment to pursuing his ambitions.
Griffin's persistence paid off when he earned his PGA Tour card and established himself as a regular contender. In 2025, he captured the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside Andrew Novak, then claimed individual victories at the Charles Schwab Challenge and World Wide Technology Championship. He also earned a place on the United States Ryder Cup team that year.
His journey from stepping away from the game to becoming a multiple-time PGA Tour winner offers an inspiring example of perseverance, perspective and rediscovered purpose.
