Bud Cauley's golf career is a story of remarkable talent, perseverance and a comeback that captured the attention of fans across the sport. A standout at the University of Alabama, Cauley turned professional in 2011 and quickly made an impression on the PGA Tour. He became the first player since 1980 to earn a PGA Tour card without first attending qualifying school or playing on the Korn Ferry Tour, thanks to his outstanding amateur career and early professional results.

Cauley recorded numerous strong finishes during his early years on tour, establishing himself as a consistent competitor. His career took a devastating turn in 2018 when he was seriously injured in a car accident that also involved fellow golfer Bill Haas. After years of rehabilitation and recovery, Cauley returned to competitive golf and eventually reclaimed his place on the PGA Tour.

His victory at the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Championship secured his return to the PGA Tour, marking an extraordinary milestone in his comeback. Cauley's story is a powerful testament to resilience, determination and the enduring love of competition.
