Ryan Fox has built an international golf career defined by power, persistence and a willingness to compete anywhere in the world. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Fox comes from a sporting family: his father, Grant Fox, was a celebrated All Blacks rugby player who helped New Zealand win the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987. Ryan initially pursued other sporting interests before establishing himself in professional golf.

After turning professional in 2012, Fox earned victories across international tours and became a regular contender on the DP World Tour. His breakthrough on the PGA Tour came in 2025, when he won both the Myrtle Beach Classic and the RBC Canadian Open, winning in a playoff. In 2026, Fox reached the pinnacle of the sport by winning The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, claiming the Claret Jug with a dramatic birdie on the final hole.
