TGL presented by SoFi is a new golf league, combining advanced technology with teams of top players from the PGA TOUR for two-hour weekly competitions in prime time starting in January 2025.
Six TGL teams representing six different cities will go head-to-head in a season-long competition at SoFi Center, a first-of-its-kind venue built specifically for TGL on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Matches will air on ESPN and ESPN+ in the U.S. with every shot live and all the players mic'd up, bringing unprecedented access to the competition for golf fans.

The Teams
Atlanta Drive GC
Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, and Billy Horschel make up Atlanta Drive GC's inaugural roster.
The week 2 match will be on Tuesday, Jan. 14, the night following ESPN’s Monday Night Football Wild Card Playoff game.
TGL’s week 3 match will be on Tuesday, Jan. 21, the night following ESPN’s coverage of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
The Players
It will be a star-studded group of 24 PGA TOUR players, divided into six four-player teams.
A diverse crew of accomplished superstars and budding young talent, all players will be mic’d up for matches, providing strategic insight and entertaining banter throughout the two-hour match.
Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers in the history of the sport. Tiger has 82 PGA TOUR wins – tied first all-time with Sam Snead – and 15 majors, which is second only to Jack Nicklaus.
Rory McIlroy has spent more than 100 weeks at World No. 1 during his career, and has four major titles and 24 PGA TOUR victories. Along with Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus, he is one of only three players to win four majors by the age of 25.
Collin Morikawa won his maiden major title in 2020 at the PGA Championship and followed it up with another major triumph in 2021 at The Open – winning each event in his debut appearance.
When Matt Fitzpatrick won the 2013 U.S. Amateur, he became the first English winner of the event since Harold Hilton in 1911. Born in Sheffield, England, Fitzpatrick is a big fan of the Premier League soccer team Sheffield United.
Tom Kim has burst onto the scene since joining the PGA TOUR in 2022, announcing his arrival at the Genesis Scottish Open with a solo third in the event before earning a signature win at the Wyndham Championship.
Justin Thomas became the eighth son of a PGA professional to win the PGA Championship when he lifted the Wanamaker Trophy in 2017. His father, Mike, is a retired PGA professional and his grandfather, Paul, was also a PGA pro.
