Each week, we take a look at the latest performances from TGL players on the PGA TOUR and across the golf world...
One of the most anticipated weeks on the golfing calendar: The Waste Management Phoenix Open. It certainly delivered this year with an exciting two-hole playoff between Charley Hoffman and Nick Taylor. Taylor ultimately came out on top after making five birdies on his last six holes, including the final playoff hole.
LAGC's Sahith Theegala was the top TGL player in the field shooting an impressive 65-64-69-69 for the week to finish the event in solo-fifth place. That's two top-10s in five events to start the year for Theegala.
Atlanta Drive GC
Billy Horschel and Justin Thomas made the trip to Arizona. Horschel finished at -6 while Thomas was in the mix until the end, shooting 68 on Sunday to card a -12 and finish T12 for the tournament. We'll see JT, Lucas Glover, and Patrick Cantlay at the Genesis Invitational next.
Boston Common Golf
In the final round at the WM Phoenix Open, Adam Scott made his mark on the par 5 15th when he drained an eagle putt. It helped Scott to finish T8 with a score of -13 and he will tee it up later this week at the Genesis Invitational, where he'll be joined by Boston Common Golf teammates Rory McIlroy and Keegan Bradley.
Jupiter Links GC
Tiger Woods returns to the course next week at the Genesis Invitational for his first competitive round of 2024. Tiger, who is the first confirmed member of Jupiter Links GC, has played just one solo event (last year's Hero World Challenge) since the 2023 Masters.
Los Angeles Golf Club
Sahith Theegala earned his second top-5 finish of the season, after making seven birdies in his opening round he held the lead heading into the weekend at -13. He finished the event at a solid -17 in fifth place. Sahith's biggest fan, his dad Murli Theegala, also became a fan favorite in Phoenix for his iconic drip.
Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa will join Theegala later this week in L.A. for a hometown event at Riviera to play in the Genesis Invitational.
TGL Commits
Kevin Kisner took his talents to the booth again at Waste Management and provided color all throughout the playoff holes.
