TICKET INFO: Everything You Need to Know about TGL Tickets
Match 1 - New York Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive GC
In TGL's broadcast network debut, the new season begins with a rematch of last season’s thrilling Finals between the defending champion Atlanta Drive GC and runner-up New York Golf Club. According to FanDuel, Atlanta Drive are favorites to repeat as champions (+260 to win the SoFi Cup).
Both Finals matches last season were decided by just one point in dramatic circumstances, none more so than Billy Horschel's epic putt for Atlanta Drive to swing Finals Match 2.
Match 2 - Boston Common Golf vs. Los Angeles Golf Club
In TGL’s first-ever Friday night match, Rory McIlroy returns to SoFi Center as a Masters and Grand Slam champion as the Balfrogs take on LAGC, who finished top of the regular season standings last time out.
It could also be a matchup of European Ryder Cup teammates as Rory faces Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose of LAGC.
Match 3 - The Bay Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive GC
The defending champs are back in action in Match 3. These teams met twice last season with The Bay GC handing Atlanta Drive its only regular season loss (a 6-5 epic).
But Atlanta Drive got revenge in the playoffs when it defeated The Bay GC in the Semifinals en route to the SoFi Cup.
Match 4 - Jupiter Links vs. New York Golf Club
Fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods makes his Season 2 debut as he leads Jupiter Links in their opener vs. New York Golf Club. NYGC staged an impressive turnaround in Season 1, making the playoffs and reaching the Finals after starting the season 0-2.
Tiger and the Jupiter squad will be looking to complete their own turnaround in Season 2 after a difficult debut season (finished 5th in SoFi Cup Standings).
Match 5 - Jupiter Links vs. Los Angeles Golf Club
Jupiter Links plays in consecutive weeks as it looks to avenge its 12-1 loss to LAGC – the most points and largest margin of victory in any match last season.
While that match was lopsided in its result, it included one of the most-viral moments of the season when Kevin Kisner’s bunker shot ricocheted off the flagstick.
Match 6 - Boston Common Golf vs. The Bay Golf Club
European Ryder Cup teammates and good friends Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry lead their respective teams in this matchup that features players from all over the world.
The Bay Golf Club (124.3 mph) and Boston Common Golf (122.4 mph) finished the regular season as the top two teams in Average Drive Swing Speed. No surprise with Rory and Wyndham Clark on the rosters.
Match 7 - Atlanta Drive GC vs. Jupiter Links
The first match in February sees Jupiter Links taking on Atlanta Drive in a battle of Hammer-happy teams, albeit with very different strategies. Atlanta Drive and Jupiter Links GC finished Season 1 as the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in Hammers Thrown at 21 and 15, respectively.
But Atlanta Drive GC’s strategy resulted in far more points than Jupiter, with JT and Co. leading the league with 30 points won from the Hammer. Jupiter Links finished last with just 5 points won from the Hammer.
Match 8 - The Bay Golf Club vs. Los Angeles Golf Club
It's a case of unfinished business for both teams as they exited in the Semifinals in Season 1.
And it could be a tale of two formats as LAGC excelled in Singles, while The Bay Golf Club found much more success in Triples.
LA finished No. 1 in Singles Holes Won (13), and No. 2 in Singles Points Won (15) in Season 1’s regular season. The Bay GC finished No. 1 in Triples Holes Won (17), and Triples Points Won (21) in the regular season.
Match 9 & 10 - Doubleheader
In TGL’s first doubleheader of the season, Atlanta Drive is pulling double duty as it takes on Boston Common Golf in the early match and Los Angeles Golf Club in the nightcap.
Match 11 & 12 - Doubleheader
It’s New York Golf Club’s turn to go back-to-back. The runners-up from Season 1 take on The Bay Golf Club in the opening match of a Tuesday doubleheader, followed by a primetime matchup vs. Boston Common Golf.
NYGC and The Bay GC were statistically the two best ball-striking teams of TGL’s inaugural season. The Bay GC ranked No. 1 and NYGC ranked No. 2, respectively, in Average Driving Distance, Driving Accuracy and Greens in Regulation.
Match 13 - Jupiter Links vs. Boston Common Golf
Sunday night. Under the SoFi Center lights. Rory vs. Tiger. Jupiter Links vs. Boston Common Golf. This should be fun.
This Sunday match follows the conclusion of the PGA TOUR’s Cognizant Classic at PGA National, which is less than five miles down the road from SoFi Center.
Match 14 & 15 - Final Week of Regular Season
It's go-big-or-go-home with playoff spots on the line in the final week of the regular season. LAGC takes on NYGC on Monday and then on Tuesday, the regular season concludes with Jupiter Links taking on The Bay GC.
Semifinals - Tuesday, March 17
When: 6:30 p.m. & 9 p.m. ET, ESPN
The top four teams in the SoFi Cup Standings will advance to the playoffs. The Semifinals doubleheader follows the TOUR’s flagship event, THE PLAYERS Championship, which wraps Sunday, March 15.
Finals
TGL’s final two teams will square off for the SoFi Cup in a best-of-three Finals Series across two nights in primetime. Just like Atlanta Drive last season, this season's champions will have their colors adorned on the SoFi Cup.
SoFi Cup Winner Odds
The latest odds at FanDuel have defending champion Atlanta Drive as favorites to repeat as champions. Rory McIlroy and Boston Common Golf are second favorites despite not making the playoffs last season.
