It was all eyes on SoFi Center with Los Angeles Golf Club and Jupiter Links Golf Club going head-to-head in the 2026 best-of-three Finals.

LAGC would need just 10 holes on the night to secure the 2-0 sweep with a 9-2 victory over Jupiter on Tuesday to secure the SoFi Cup and take the title of TGL Champions.

Justin Rose’s eagle at the first Singles hole capped a 9-0 run in a five-hole stretch, culminating with three consecutive eagles to secure the victory at No. 10. LAGC’s championship banner will soon hang in the SoFi Center rafters alongside Atlanta’s Season 1 championship banner.

Here are the best reactions from players on both sides of the 2026 Finals.

LOS ANGELES COMEBACK

Rose on what Tommy Fleetwood said to the team after falling behind 2-0: “’We’ve had four pars, no drama ... we’re not doing anything wrong. Just stick with it.’ That was the pep talk [from Tommy]. They got off to a good start, fair play to them. ... You’re not always gonna go three eagles on the bounce. That’s an insane way to finish.”

Tiger Woods: “We got our (butts) kicked in the end. Three eagles in a row and we didn’t respond. I missed a short one at the beginning to kind of give them momentum and we never got it back.”

Sahith Theegala: “It feels unbelievable. What a team, what a year. It just didn’t necessarily start the way we wanted this year, but we weren’t worried. We’ve got the best team in the world and a bunch of people behind the scenes ... I think we played our best golf of the year there those last five or six holes. It’s just awesome to finish that way.”

Homa: “It sucked. I’m not gonna give you a whole lot more than that.”

ON THE LA HAMMER AT NO. 10 THAT CLINCHED THE WIN

Max Homa on accepting the Hammer when declining would have kept Jupiter alive: “That was my bad. When we talked about it before, it felt like I had it understood in my head, because my math is bad, that we had to win the hole to keep the match going and then – I don’t know, I was headless. Honestly, I have a lot of respect – this is not a joke – for NFL coaches and stuff because your brain goes everywhere, and when they threw it, I didn’t really understand why they were throwing it. It was just a really dumb move on my part.”

Theegala: “I did think they kind of had to accept it. Even if they decline it, they’re down six with five to play so they’d have to run the tables. I mean, I guess mathematically you should decline the Hammer, but I think in the moment, if you’re trying to win, I think you’ve got to accept that and hope. ... I figured even if they decline it, we’re up six. We weren’t going to use our Hammers anyway, so I figured I’d throw it there.”

ON TIGER WOODS’ RETURN TO COMPETITION

Woods: “(I feel) fine physically. It was just interesting, the shots, because usually you have more of a rhythm when you’re actually playing a normal round of golf, hitting shots. Here it feels like I'm getting iced a bit at times. ... I had a couple drives I had to hit and then a couple putts. For me it was different because I haven’t really done this. I’ve been watching these guys do it. They make it look easy. I haven’t done it in a while. It was a lot of fun, though, to be a part of it.”

Homa: “He [Tiger] brings so much intensity. He’s obviously one of the most competitive people that have ever lived, so having him on your team even when he’s not playing is inspiring. But we want to show up for him.”

Rose: “Special night for golf. He [Tiger] does bring so much to it. ... He looked impressive. I don’t think he hit a bad shot. The only bad shot he hit was not a bad shot, it was just too good a shot almost with a wedge that went too far. But his fairway woods – everything looked great.”

ON THE 2026 TGL SEASON

Tommy Fleetwood: “Like they say, you don’t get to win a lot. ... My thing is, trophies are great. I’m more about the moments in a way. Like that trophy [the SoFi Cup] is amazing to look at – we've won that trophy. [But] my best feeling about the whole thing is the winning moment with the boys. That’s what I’ll remember and that’s what I’ll take from it and all the practice that we did together and all the process things and all the work that we put into it. That’s the biggest thing I’ll take away from it.”

Rose on winning after being upset in the Semifinals in Season 1: “We were kind of great last year all through the regular season and then the first hurdle came and we fell at it. But we’ve had a lot of hurdles this season. We’ve been down in matches, had to fight back. We were down early in the match today, didn’t panic, and that’s through good messaging and trusting our process and trusting all the work we’ve put in as a team and trusting each other.”

Homa: “We were last and now we’re second. Only way is up.”
