About Lucas

Born and raised in South Carolina, Glover’s love of golf comes from his grandfather, Dick Hendley, who gave him a cut-down club when he was three years old and first took him to the Masters at age six.

Hendley, a fellow athlete in the family, was a standout in football and baseball at Clemson, where he is a Hall of Fame member, and he played one season (1951) with the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. Glover joins his grandfather in the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame. They are the first grandfather and grandson duo to be inducted in Clemson athletics history.

Glover has played team golf before in the Palmer Cup, the Walker Cup, and the Presidents Cup. He has six PGA TOUR wins to his name with the most recent pair of W’s coming in back-to-back weeks last season at the Wyndham Championship and the St. Jude FedEx Championship.

An avid reader, he particularly enjoys mysteries and thrillers. He read four books during the week of his rainy 2009 U.S. Open victory.
