Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links GC, Los Angeles Golf Club, Motor City Golf Club, New York Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club make up the seven teams competing in TGL presented by SoFi.

After debuting in 2025 with six founding teams, TGL heads toward expansion following the announcement of a seventh team for the 2027 season, Motor City Golf Club.

The league’s first two seasons established rivalries, breakout personalities, and championship drama:

  • Atlanta Drive GC captured the inaugural 2025 SoFi Cup.
  • Los Angeles Golf Club won the 2026 SoFi Cup after defeating Jupiter Links Golf Club in the Finals Series.

Format Breakdown:

  • Team Golf: The seven TGL teams will each have four players. A TGL match will feature three players competing for each team in a modern match-play format.
  • SoFi Center: A first-of-its-kind experience for golf located on the campus of Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and enabled by a data-rich, virtual course paired with a tech-infused, short-game complex.
  • Every Shot Live: High-energy, greenside fan experience with every shot live within a two-hour televised match. All TGL players are mic’d up.

Atlanta Drive GC

2025 TGL Champions

Atlanta Drive became the league’s first champion by winning the inaugural title in 2025. Entering the 2026 season as defending champion, Atlanta remained one of the league’s most consistent teams and again qualified for the playoffs.

Atlanta established an early identity as one of TGL’s toughest tactical teams, excelling in Triples, clutch putting and expert Hammer usage.

The elite squad Atlanta Drive GC has put together includes Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover. Combined they have amassed 38 PGA TOUR wins and have proven to be a competitive force for Atlanta.

Chris Gotterup and Corey Conners joined the team as alternates last season.

Boston Common Golf

Bounce-back 2026 Season

Boston Common Golf took a major leap in the 2026 season, and we’re not talking about the addition of their new mascot, The Frog. Boston finished atop the 2026 regular season standings with 4-1 record after a winless inaugural season—it was quite an impressive sophomore season statement.

The current roster includes career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy. Alongside him are 8-time PGA TOUR winner and New England native Keegan Bradley and 14-time PGA TOUR winner Adam Scott, as well as 11-time PGA TOUR winner Hideki Matsuyama.

Alternate player Michael Thorbjornsen quickly became a hometown hero for his incredible putting contributions for Boston Common Golf last season.

Jupiter Links GC

2026 Runner-Up

Another standout second season came from Jupiter Links as they reached the 2026 Finals before falling to Los Angeles Golf Club in the Finals.

Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner compete alongside Tiger Woods to represent the four-man team for Jupiter Links Golf Club. Akshay Bhatia stepped in as an alternate last season and helped Jupiter to cement its persona as the team who likes to have a good time, but they also brought a competitive spirit that led the squad to runner-up status.

Los Angeles Golf Club

2026 TGL Champions

LAGC completed a breakthrough 2026 season by sweeping Jupiter Links in the Finals to win the SoFi Cup. The team produced one of the defining moments in TGL history to date with a stunning comeback and three straight eagles in the championship-clinching match.

LAGC's roster rolls deep in team golf experience and major moments with the likes of Collin Morikawa, an Olympian and 2-time major champion, PGA TOUR winner Sahith Theegala, Olympic gold medalist and 13-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Rose, and winner of the 2025 TOUR Championship, Tommy Fleetwood.

Its 2026 title validated the chemistry and team-first identity it has built since teeing off in 2025.

Motor City Golf Club

Teeing Off in 2027

Motor City Golf Club became the seventh TGL team and the league's first expansion team. The Detroit-based franchise draws inspiration from the "Motor City" in its name and logo as it reflects a broader culture of speed, design, and mechanical excellence that’s part of the city’s DNA.

No official player roster has been finalized. Stay tuned for that.

New York Golf Club

2025 Runner-Up

New York GC reached the inaugural Finals in 2025 before falling to Atlanta Drive GC, establishing itself early as one of TGL’s most competitive teams.

Built around a star-studded roster featuring Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Young, NYGC brought a blend of major championship pedigree and personality to SoFi Center each week.

Combined the New York GC roster has earned 37 professional wins, 13 Ryder Cup appearances, seven Presidents Cup Selections, three PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year Awards, and has competed in three Olympic Games.

Although the club narrowly missed another Finals appearance in 2026, New York remained one of the league’s most dangerous teams. Schauffele’s steady leadership and Fowler’s fan-favorite presence helped make NYGC one of TGL’s most watchable teams, while Cameron Young emerged as one of the league’s most impressive shotmakers.

The Bay Golf Club

High-Energy Contenders

The Bay remained one of the league’s most entertaining and most explosive off-the-tee teams through the first two seasons of TGL. The club continued to develop a strong identity around aggressive shot-making and youthful energy with Dr. Chipinski, a.k.a. Min Woo Lee. The Bay's alternate players Luke Clanton and Neal Shipley doubled-down on the youthful energy and brought the league its first-ever hole-in-one during competition when Shipley aced Set in Stone from 110 yards.

The Bay Golf Club’s squad features two-time PGA TOUR winner Ludvig Åberg, three-time PGA TOUR winner and 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, 2025 Texas Children's Houston Open winner Min Woo Lee, and three-time PGA TOUR winner Shane Lowry.
