LAGC, The Bay, Atlanta Drive and New York Golf Club will compete in the postseason and fans can register now for early access to tickets when they go on sale.
The playoff field is officially set.
No. 1 seed Los Angeles Golf Club will face No. 4 seed New York Golf Club at 7 p.m. ET on March 17 on ESPN2 in the first Semifinal. The next day, No. 2 seed The Bay Golf Club will take on No. 3 seed Atlanta Drive GC at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN for a place in the Finals Series.
Tickets for both matches will go on sale Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET for those that pre-register for access. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 12 p.m. ET.
Semifinal Matchups
- Los Angeles Golf Club vs. New York Golf Club, March 17, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2
- The Bay Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive GC, March 18, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN
The winners from each Semifinal return to SoFi Center for a best-of-three Finals Series on Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25 to claim the SoFi Cup.
New York Golf Club's Rickie Fowler said his team is "looking for redemption" against Los Angeles in the Semifinals after New York lost a 4-0 lead to fall 5-4 to LAGC in overtime during the regular season. LAGC did not lose a match in regulation during the season, compiling a 4-0-1 record over its five matches. It secured the No. 1 seed with an impressive 5-3 win over previously top-ranked The Bay in its final match of the regular season.
It should be a fun battle off the tee, with LA second in driving accuracy (hitting 73.5% of fairways) and New York second in average driving distance (317.8 yards per drive).
In the second Semifinal, The Bay will take on Atlanta Drive. The Bay was dominant for much of the regular season, finishing top of the stats in several categories, including driving distance, driving accuracy and greens in regulation. But it lost its final match in a close battle with LAGC to drop to the No. 2 seed.
The two winners from the Semifinals will square off for the SoFi Cup in a best-of-three Finals Series across two nights in prime time on ESPN. Match 1 will be on Monday, March 24. Match 2 and, if necessary, Match 3 of the Finals Series will be held back-to-back on Tuesday, March 25.
