The rematch is on.

Season 2 of TGL presented by SoFi will tee off with Atlanta Drive, the defending champs, against New York Golf Club, live on ABC at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 28. Fans can get early access to tickets for Season 2 matches by signing up for the presale now. The full schedule will be released in September.

Atlanta beat New York 2-0 in the best-of-three Finals Series back in March to win the first-ever SoFi Cup. That thrilling Finals Series capped a memorable first season and sets the stage for Atlanta to return to SoFi Center in December to hoist their championship banner before the opening match.

Atlanta Drive will also return the SoFi Cup to SoFi Center and the trophy will change from the champion team’s red back to SoFi blue until a new champion is crowned during the Season 2 Finals in March 2026.

Finals Rematch

Each of the two Finals matches came down to the last hole and ended in a pair of one-point victories for Atlanta Drive. Down 3-0 with four holes to play in Match 2 of Season 1’s Finals, Atlanta Drive staged an epic comeback capped by a 17-foot birdie putt by Billy Horschel to win the match and capture the inaugural SoFi Cup in a 4-3 victory over NYGC.

Two key factors in Atlanta Drive GC’s championship season were the team’s success in crunch time during the Singles format and the way they utilized the Hammer.

Across the regular season and playoffs, Atlanta recorded the most Singles Holes Won (20) and the Most Points Won in Singles (31).

They also led the league in throwing the Hammer (21 times) and scored a league-best 30 points from Hammer throws. The 30 points won off Hammers more than doubled the next-best teams as LAGC and NYGC were each T2 with 14 points won from Hammers.

The Atlanta team is made up of Horschel, Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover and Justin Thomas. NYGC’s roster includes Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele and Cameron Young.
