TGL presented by SoFi returns Monday night with a critical matchup between The Bay Golf Club and Los Angeles Golf Club.

The SoFi Cup Standings look a bit different this week, and teams from around the league should be celebrating Jupiter Links Golf Club’s recent victory over Atlanta Drive GC at SoFi Center.

BAY vs. LA: How To Watch TGL In Your Country

Now, the postseason race is wide open as The Bay Golf Club and Los Angeles Golf Club square off at 7 p.m. ET Monday on ESPN2. The match is also available to stream on the ESPN app.

The Bay, LA in Critical Matchup

These were the top two seeds coming out of the regular season in 2025, with LAGC No. 1 and The Bay No. 2. But 2026 is a different story so far, with The Bay (0-2-0) and Los Angeles (1-1-0) currently outside of the playoff bubble in the bottom two spots midway through Season 2.

There’s still plenty of time and Atlanta’s first loss of the year opens up a host of possibilities, with Boston Common Golf the only remaining unbeaten team. But this is a huge matchup for both squads at a critical point in the season.

The Bay has played the toughest schedule in TGL so far this season, with losses to Atlanta and Boston – two teams that are currently in the top two positions in the SoFi Cup Standings.

The Bay was competitive in a 7-4 loss to Atlanta to open the season, tied 3-3 through 10 holes before letting things slip away in Singles. They responded with their worst effort to date, getting blown out in a 9-1 loss to Boston that saw them outscored 8-0 over the final 11 holes.

It’s been an unexpected decline for the biggest surprise team of Season 1 – The Bay has only won five holes this season while every other team in the league has won at least 11 holes. They will need to play with a sense of urgency Monday to get this thing turned around in a hurry.

Los Angeles is in a better position at .500 on the season and hasn’t played poorly. They were tied with Boston through 11 holes in an eventual 7-5 loss and bounced back with a strong showing their last time out at SoFi Center, taking it to Jupiter in an 8-4 victory.

Their most recent outing saw Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala pick up three clutch points over the final two holes to secure the win, and this is still a very dangerous Los Angeles team capable of making a run to the Finals.
