PGA TOUR Superstore to sponsor newest hospitality offering, The Georgian, alongside popular putting experience at the TOUR Championship.

TOUR Championship officials announced today that PGA TOUR Superstore will sponsor the event’s newest, upscale shared hospitality venue, The Georgian, as well as one of the most popular fan activations at the tournament when the PGA TOUR’s best players return to East Lake Golf Club for the FedExCup Playoffs finale from Aug. 28 – Sept. 1.

“The TOUR Championship is excited to expand its longstanding partnership with PGA TOUR Superstore and to work with TGL’s Atlanta Drive GC to continue to elevate the fan experience for our ticketholders and hospitality clients,” said Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship. “From public fan activations to upscale hospitality offerings, these partnerships are intrinsic to the fan experience and help us give back to our community partners.”

PGA TOUR Superstore will help provide an upscale shared hospitality offering at the TOUR Championship, with The Georgian presented by PGA TOUR Superstore set to deliver fans a premium tournament experience. A climate-controlled structure with expansive patio seating set amongst a pivotal section of the course on Nos. 8 and 9, includes food and beverage, and extensive views towards No. 1 tee and the iconic East Lake clubhouse. This upscale venue’s central course location is the ideal place to be amidst the golf action. The Georgian presented by PGA TOUR Superstore is now available beginning at two tickets per day, Thursday through Sunday.

From Wednesday through Sunday during tournament week the PGA TOUR Superstore GSGA Putting Experience will give fans a one-of-a-kind opportunity to hit some putts on one of East Lake Golf Club’s replica putting greens. With a selection of putters available for use courtesy of PGA TOUR Superstore, spectators can make their way to The Landing on No. 17 fairway to test their putting skills on TOUR Championship-speed greens and walk away with some fun prizes.

“Charity and giving back have always been part of the fabric of the PGA TOUR. The revitalization of the East Lake neighborhood is the North Star of the positive impact the game of golf can make in its communities,” said Jill Thomas, Chief Marketing Officer, PGA TOUR Superstore and Governor, Atlanta Drive GC. “As purpose driven organizations, PGA TOUR Superstore and Atlanta Drive GC are proud to support the TOUR Championship and the tournament’s continued mission to support the East Lake community.”

The TOUR Championship has also partnered with TGL’s Atlanta Drive GC to offer fans easy access to rides throughout championship week with Rideshare Gate presented by Atlanta Drive GC. Considered the preferred method of transportation for the TOUR Championship, rideshare offers convenience and efficiency for getting to and from East Lake Golf Club, regardless of where fans reside in the Metro Atlanta area. With a dedicated drop-off and pick-up area located on 2nd Avenue, the Atlanta Drive GC Rideshare Lounge will provide a space for fans to wait for their rides.

Atlanta Drive GC is one of the founding teams of TGL presented by SoFi, the new tech-forward, primetime golf league developed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports in partnership with the PGA TOUR. Atlanta Drive GC features Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, and Lucas Glover, who have a combined 37 career PGA TOUR wins, three major championships and three FedExCup titles between them. Each TGL match will feature three players competing for each team in a two-hour, match play competition, offering a fresh approach to the sport with a focus on technology, innovation, and fan engagement. The inaugural season begins on January 7 live in primetime on ESPN and ESPN+.

“Partnering with the TOUR Championship to introduce Atlanta’s incredible golf fans to the city’s newest professional golf team is an opportunity we just could not pass up,” said Ryan Mucatel, Chief Marketing Officer, AMB Sports and Entertainment, and Vice Governor, Atlanta Drive GC. “The city of Atlanta has a rich and storied history in the game of golf, and we are excited for this next chapter as Atlanta Drive GC begins its inaugural season in January. We look forward to educating Atlanta golf fans about TGL as we prepare to tee off in January and compete for another championship for this city.”

The TOUR Championship will make a return to Labor Day weekend in 2024, with tournament dates set for Aug. 28 – Sept. 1, as the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players compete in the FedExCup Playoffs finale for their chance to win the FedExCup and the season title.
