The Last Toll
The Last Toll
Par 3 | 241 yds
In a world that fell apart, this bridge still decides who gets through. The Last Toll asks for courage under the truss, touch over the road, or craft around the towers.
There’s no toll booth here—the only toll players will pay will be in choosing trajectory and shot shape, plus holding their nerve. Playing as long as 241 yards, teams will be asked to either hit a high fade over the broken road, a draw around the bridge towers, or a low shot to thread the needle under or through the mayhem.
Which leaves the final question... how will you pay the toll?

Hole designer: Gil Hanse
Gil Hanse talks through the design of The Last Toll and discusses how the teams may approach it:
Gil says: "The Last Toll really shows our creative side, looking into a dystopian, post-apocalyptic version of the future. One of our associates, Kevin Murphy, took a bridge that had been deconstructed and wove it into the golf hole.
"You have an opportunity to feather your ball through, around, or over the roadway, the cables, and the towers.
"The green is set down below with water to the right and fairway to the left. We have turned the green so it really requires a forced carry over. We thought it would be interesting to watch the players have to maneuver and shape their balls through these vertical hazards, which have always been of interest to us.
"If the golfers are unable to navigate these vertical hazards, the toll it takes on their score might be pretty heavy."
