Each week, we take a look at the latest performances from TGL players on the PGA TOUR and across the golf world...

Boston Common Golf's Rory McIlroy won the DP World Tour's Dubai Desert Classic trophy for the fourth time in his career. Over on the PGA TOUR, 10 TGL players took on The American Express in La Quinta, California.

Let's break down the top performances:

Atlanta Drive GC

Justin Thomas had a great first event of his season at The American Express with a T3 finish at -27. Thomas congratulated fellow Alabama alumni Nick Dunlap as he became the first amateur to win a PGA TOUR event since Phil Mickelson in 1991.

Patrick Cantlay and Billy Horschel were in the field at The American Express, as well. Cantlay was the pick of those two as he shot -15 on the tournament.

Although Lucas Glover did not compete last week, he did kick his season off in Hawaii and shot a solid -19 at The Sentry.

Boston Common Golf

Rory McIlroy enjoyed an epic week in Dubai to win the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, shooting -14 to make him a 17-time winner on the DP World Tour. McIlroy has won the Dubai Desert Classic four times now, the most he's ever won an event (he's won the TOUR Championship and the Wells Fargo Championship three times each).

Adam Scott also tee'd it up with the DP World Tour last week and he played well at the Hero Dubai Desert classic finishing T7 at -9.

Keegan Bradley made it into the one-hole playoff at his recent outing at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Ultimately, Bradley finished T2 at -17 with Ben An, while Grayson Murray earned the W after making a birdie putt in the playoff.

Jupiter Links Golf Club

Tiger Woods is set to host the Genesis Invitational next month in California. Woods recently announced Chase Johnson as the recipient of the Charlie Sifford Memorial Exemption, which is awarded to a golfer representing a minority background to play in the annual event.

Los Angeles Golf Club

LAGC's Collin Morikawa has been championing a revitalization project at the Maggie Hathaway Golf Course in Los Angeles and he worked with his team's ownership group to help launch a give-back program. Ten percent of LAGC's annual sponsorship revenues will go directly to revitalizing the Maggie Hathaway Golf Course and facility in Los Angeles, furthering the club's commitment to making golf more accessible for everyone.

Sahith Theegala had an impressive start to his season at The Sentry with a second place finish and now looks ahead to the Farmers Insurance Open in his home state of California.
