2 Playoff Spots Clinched, 2 Up For Grabs
Boston finished in last place and didn’t win a match last year, but the Ballfrogs are now in first and secured their playoff spot with a 9-2 win over New York during Tuesday’s doubleheader. They face a Jupiter team that’s still alive and harbors a 44.7% chance to make the playoffs with two matches left on the season. These two teams played one of the most entertaining matches in all of Season 1, with Jupiter scoring a 4-3 overtime victory.
Los Angeles and New York are up next, with both teams playing their final match of the regular season. New York has an 8% chance at the postseason, according to ScoreSight, but needs all three matches to go their way, along with winning enough holes to secure a potential tiebreaker.

This is a rematch from last year’s Semifinals upset in which No. 4-seeded New York knocked off No. 1 Los Angeles with a 6-4 victory to advance to the Finals.
The Bay and Jupiter put a bow on the regular season Tuesday –– The Bay holds a 68.9% chance to secure a playoff spot, but this could potentially be a must-win for either team to get in depending on how the first two matches shake out.
It all goes down in a three-night stretch that will determine the top four in the SoFi Cup Standings as the race to the Finals nears the finish line.
