With the sprint through the regular season nearly complete, there’s plenty still yet to be decided in TGL’s playoff picture.

Just two teams – Boston Common Golf and Atlanta Drive GC – have locked up spots in the playoffs. Each of the other four teams still has a pathway to the SoFi Cup, though some are more difficult than others.

Here are the top numbers and notes to know entering the final week of TGL’s regular season...

JUPITER’S OPPORTUNITY

After missing the postseason last year, Jupiter Links GC begins this week with a clear directive: Win and you’re in. With victories over Boston on Sunday and The Bay on Tuesday, Tiger Woods’ club will seal a spot in the playoffs. There are other routes they can also take to get in, but a pair of victories in the coming days is the simplest path.

RACE TO THE PLAYOFFS: Who's In, Who's Out?

Jupiter gets a big boost this week as its most electrifying player from last season, Tom Kim, will make his Season 2 debut on Sunday evening. Kim was arguably the best putter in the entire league in Season 1, leading all players in strokes gained putting (+2.2) and putt-make rate from 5 to 10 feet (87.5%, minimum 5 attempts).

HOUSE MONEY FOR FROGS

Boston enters the week in a comfortable position. Its playoff reservation secured, Sunday evening is about seeding for the Ballfrogs. Looking forward, two numbers jump off the page in regard to Boston’s chances to win the SoFi Cup: Par 5 performance and short putts.

In its three wins this season, Boston has been dominant on the par 5s, going 9-2-4 and hitting the green in two nearly half the time (7-for-15). In its lone loss, Boston went 1-3-1 on those holes.

As for the short putting, Boston missed just one time from 4 to 8 ft during its 2-0-0 start to the season. Over its last two matches, the club has six misses from that range. Whether or not those putts drop in the coming weeks could determine the fate of the Ballfrogs.

LA’S LETHAL LINEUP

The situation for Los Angeles Golf Club on Monday is a simple one: Win the match against New York and it is in the playoffs. LAGC will roll out its strongest trio in terms of Official World Golf Ranking in an attempt to get that done: Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa.

This is the third time those three have teed it up together for LAGC. Not only did LA win both of those prior matches, they won the first three holes of both, never trailed at any point, and never played a hole after the first where they didn’t lead in the match. The total tally is 30 holes led, 0 holes trailed and a 10-to-2 point differential in Triples.

One trend LA would love to turn around before the playoffs? Hammer points. A season ago, only Atlanta had a better point differential in Hammer situations than Los Angeles. LAGC enters this week last in TGL in that statistic (-7).

NEW YORK’S LAST GASP

A year removed from a thrilling run to the Finals, New York is in dire straits with just one match left to play. NYGC will need to win Monday evening, then get help from other teams to squeak into the playoffs via tiebreaker scenarios.

New York simply hasn’t been as sharp through the bag this year as it was in its 2025 run. As a team, NYGC has hit eight shots into the penalty area through four matches. In all of last season, that happened just five times. The club has also holed just three putts of 10 ft or longer in Season 2, something it did eight times last year.

One interesting trait LAGC and NYGC share as they enter this final regular season match: Excellent putting from 5 to 10 ft. This season, TGL players as a group are holing 58.2% of their putts from that range. Both LAGC (60.0%) and New York (75.0%) are better than that mark.

IS THE BAY THIS YEAR’S NYGC?

A year ago, New York Golf Club started 0-2, made a furious rally down the stretch and snuck into the playoffs. Could The Bay Golf Club replicate that pattern in Season 2?

The club is one win away from that coming to fruition, as nothing stands between The Bay and the playoffs except Jupiter Links on Tuesday night. The Bay’s turnaround has been absolute: A 1-6-3 record on par 3s flipped on its ear (6-1-3 in the last two matches). Singles has turned from a disaster (-6 point differential) to a romp (+5). The Bay Golf Club has holed 67 ft of putts in its last two matches – it made a mere 27 ft in its 0-2-0 start.

No matter what happens on Sunday in the Jupiter Links vs. Boston Common Golf match, both teams will be mathematically alive to advance to the postseason on Tuesday night. It’s a fitting conclusion to a fast, fascinating Season 2 of regular season play.
