Monday & Tuesday Doubleheaders: How To Watch TGL In Your Country

Double the action, double the fun

Atlanta-Boston is a barnburner right out of the gate with serious postseason implications. These are the top two teams in the SoFi Cup Standings and Boston (2-0-0) can clinch a playoff spot with a victory in regulation.

The opening match also sees Justin Thomas making his season debut for Atlanta alongside Chris Gotterup and Patrick Cantlay. They’ll take on the trio of Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley and Michael Thorbjornsen in a match to claim first place outright.

Los Angeles (1-2-0) is in third place and coming off an 11-5 loss to The Bay.

It can drastically improve its playoff chances with a win over Atlanta, sending Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa to face Cantlay, Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover for Atlanta.

Must-win matchups

Tuesday’s doubleheader tees off with two teams in must-win mode. New York (1-1-0) has been off for more than a month since its 8-3 win over Jupiter, while The Bay (1-2-0) is coming off an 11-5 victory over Los Angeles that kept its playoff hopes alive.

Both teams are currently outside the playoff bubble and need to gain ground fast. Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick and Rickie Fowler get the nod for New York against Ludvig Åberg, Wyndham Clark and Shane Lowry for The Bay.

New York is back in action for the second Tuesday tilt, taking on Boston. While currently in last, NYGC could actually jump into first place in the Standings with back-to-back wins depending on how the other matches shake out.

Boston is switching things up for its second match in two days, with Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama and Keegan Bradley set to take on New York’s Fowler, Schauffele and Cameron Young.

It all gets underway at 5 p.m. Monday, with a furious four-match stretch that promises to shake-up the SoFi Cup Standings and help mold the playoff picture as we enter the home stretch of Season 2.
