The wait is almost over – TGL presented by SoFi is ramping up for another season of fast-paced team golf at SoFi Center.
The action resumes at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 28 with New York Golf Club taking on Atlanta Drive GC to tee off Season 2.
All six teams are back following the inaugural 2025 season, including one team looking to build on a strong first campaign in The Bay Golf Club.
The Bay GC finished as the No. 2 seed in the SoFi Cup Standings and has every reason to believe it can make another strong push for the SoFi Cup with its talented roster returning for 2026.

The Bay Golf Club Schedule
The Bay GC has a strong test right out of the gate to begin its Season 2 campaign, taking on defending champion Atlanta Drive GC at 5 p.m. ET Jan. 6 on ESPN.
These two teams met in the 2025 Semifinals, where Atlanta ended The Bay’s season with a 9-3 victory en route to its Finals victory.
The Bay would love to set the tone for 2026 with a strong showing against another top contender, and get a bit of revenge for the early exit during a year in which The Bay sat atop the SoFi Cup Standings for much of the regular season.
Ludvig and Co. should have plenty of confidence coming in and they know they can beat Atlanta, scoring a 6-5 win over the champs during the regular season a year ago.
The 2026 season will feature several doubleheaders, with The Bay kicking off a pair of matches at 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 24 against New York Golf Club. This is a rematch from the first-ever TGL match, in which The Bay cruised to a 9-2 win over NYGC.
The Bay will also compete in the final match of the upcoming regular season March 3 against Jupiter Links Golf Club, with Jupiter looking to bounce back after finishing fifth in the SoFi Cup Standings to miss the playoffs a year ago.
The Bay Golf Club Roster
The Bay was not considered a preseason favorite at FanDuel entering the 2025 season (Boston Common Golf and New York Golf Club were the favorites before a ball was hit at SoFi Center). That changed in a hurry as Ludvig Åberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee and Shane Lowry proved themselves as one of the strongest teams in the league.
Åberg’s ball-striking, Clark’s length off the tee, Min Woo Lee’s prolific ball speed/short game and Lowry’s experience all added up to form a complete contender.
It’s probably safe to say most players would have traded places with Lowry this offseason, with the 38-year-old Irishman sinking the decisive putt in the Ryder Cup as Team Europe beat the U.S. Team at Bethpage Black.
Clark also finished his year on a high note with a T-4 finish at The Open at Royal Portrush and is looking to pick up right where he left off as a top statistical performer in TGL.
Clark was the top player in the 2025 regular season in terms of total points won, leading the league with 26 – NYGC's Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young finished tied for second with 19. Clark was particularly dominant in Triples, leading the league in Triples points won (21) and Triples holes won (17).
Clark also finished second in the league with an average driver swing speed of 129 mph in the regular season – faster than everyone other than TBGC teammate Lee.
Speaking of Min Woo, the 27-year-old Australian put the league on notice immediately, posting huge numbers with driver in hand. Lee led TGL in average driver ball speed (190.3 mph), average driver distance (332 yards) and average driver swing speed (130.5) across the regular season.
The Bay also relied on Åberg’s strong overall game, with the 26-year-old Swede finishing tied for first in greens in regulation in the regular season. He also made several clutch putts throughout the season and showed why he’s one of the most promising young talents in professional golf.
Season 1 Recap
It didn’t take long for TBGC to earn respect as a true championship contender in Season 1.
It started with a dominant win on opening night over New York, with The Bay jumping out to a 6-0 lead in an eventual 9-2 victory. But there were questions about how the team would respond after waiting more than a month for its next matches, a back-to-back tilt against Atlanta Drive GC and Boston Common Golf as part of a Presidents' Day Tripleheader.
The Bay put on an epic performance to improve to 3-0 and move to first place in the SoFi Cup Standings, starting with a 6-5 win over Atlanta.
The Bay led 3-0 and 4-2 in the early going before Atlanta tied the match, 5-5, using the Hammer for a two-point swing on the 12th hole. But The Bay used a Hammer of its own on the 13th hole, which Patrick Cantlay declined, to give the West Coast team what would prove to be the decisive point.
The Bay kept it going in the second match of the doubleheader, another nail-biter against Boston that was tied 4-4 going into the 15th and final hole. Clark reached the par-5 in two and drained a 10-foot eagle putt for the walk-off win to give his team a 3-0 start.
They improved to 4-0 with a win over Jupiter and suffered their lone loss of the regular season the following week against Los Angeles Golf Club.
It all meant that The Bay earned the No. 2 seed in the playoffs behind LAGC. A Semifinal loss to the eventual champions brought The Bay’s season to a close, but there’s every reason to believe this team can take it a step further in Season 2.
