LAGC partnered with KBS and TaylorMade to spend a day in Southern California for a premium, all-inclusive event.

On August 28, LAGC brought 20 close friends, influencers, and partners together for a one-of-a-kind, golf-filled outing in San Diego.

The LAGC hospitality was on full display, and the schedule was packed: Club fitting, club customization, an afternoon on the golf course, and an intimate dining experience to cap off the memorable day.

In partnership with KBS and TaylorMade, guests were treated to a fully customized club-building experience. Each attendee got fit for a KBS shaft, picked from a range of finishes and decals, and had the exclusive opportunity to test the brand-new TaylorMade MG5 wedge — a week before its public release.

The details made the difference:

  • Custom ferrules in LAGC’s signature colors, thanks to BB&F Co.

  • Exclusive LAGC-engraved heads, finished with personalized stamping.

  • Custom LAGC grips from Golf Pride.

It was a full DIY club build, where each guest cut their own shaft, added their grip, and finished their wedge in the TaylorMade workshop set up on-site.

From there, we took the newly built wedges straight onto the course at Aviara Golf Club — one of San Diego’s finest. Designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, Aviara Golf Club is one of the more underrated courses in California, if not the country. Paired up and ready to go, everyone got to break in their new gear in style, with LAGC hosting the entire round.

The day wrapped with a celebratory dinner at Din Tai Fung in La Jolla, where we reflected on the day over some fantastic Taiwanese cuisine.

With transportation covered door-to-door, our guests only had one job: Enjoy.

That’s what LAGC is all about — bringing people into the game in ways that feel personal, premium, and fun.

Building the LAGC Community

Building this experience for some of our closest partners in Southern California is only a taste of what we’ll be inviting the LA community into this upcoming season.

We’re grateful for partners like KBS, TaylorMade, BB&F Co., Golf Pride, and Din Tai Fung — we look forward to more events like this in the future.
