Pebble Beach rests on one of the most beautiful and iconic shorelines in golf.
AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM
February 12-15, 2026
Pebble Beach Golf Links | Pebble Beach, California
Purse: $20M
All four members of LAGC (plus our alternate Tony Finau) will be in the field for the first time this year.
Here’s what you need to know about the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Two Courses, One Champion
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was historically played across three courses in Monterey Peninsula, and was a 54-hole cut event. In 2026, the format changed to still use a multi-course rotation for the opening rounds — but now it’s a 72 hole no-cut Signature Event where 80 Players will rotate through:
- Pebble Beach Golf Links
- Spyglass Hill Golf Course
With four days of play guaranteed, one bad day doesn’t kill your chances. The players will alternate between Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Club on Thursday and Friday, then they will finish the final 36 holes exclusively on Pebble Beach Golf Links to round out the weekend.
The History
Pebble Beach Golf Links opened in 1919, designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant. Their goal? To build a public course that rivals the best private courses in the country. It doesn’t hurt when you get to build a course in one of the most scenic stretches of shoreline in the country.
Typically, -20 nearly guarantees you a win, but -15 could get the job done depending on the conditions.
The Match — Lore on the Monterey Peninsula
“The Match” was a private 1956 showdown at Cypress Point arranged by Eddie Lowery and George Coleman. It was a high-stakes wager between two sides of the game. Ben Hogan and a young Ken Venturi faced Byron Nelson and elite amateur Harvie Ward, pitting experience against emerging talent on one of the most demanding coastal courses in the world.
Later documented in Mark Frost’s The Match, this dual has become part of the Peninsula’s epic golf history. It reflects a time when significant moments unfolded without galleries or publicity. It was just the players, the course, and the incredible setting. There’s an exclusivity to this match that adds to the lore of Pebble Beach and all its rich history.
Hogan and Venturi walked away with the $10,000 that was on the line, roughly $115,000 in today’s money.
You can just feel it at Pebble. Greatness has touched this place — much of the greatness seen by many, some of the greatness seen only by few. And when you play here, you feel like you’re a part of an incredible story still being written.
Tommy Fleetwood Storylines
Tommy Fleetwood makes his PGA TOUR season debut at Pebble Beach. Fleetwood is coming off one of his greatest seasons, and when you look at what he did to finish last year, you’ll see that he may have more momentum coming into this season than anyone.
- Four top-5 finishes in his final 6 events
- TOUR Championship winner
- Ryder Cup winner
- DP World Tour win
While he has yet to make his PGA TOUR season debut, he looks to pick up where he left off in 2025…winning.
Justin Rose Storylines
Justin Rose is coming off a victory at the Farmers Insurance Open to a place where he’s been victorious in the past.
Rose won at Pebble Beach in 2023. It was a win that propelled him back into the conversation of golf’s best, and as we know…he’s remained part of that conversation ever since. He then finished T-3 here last year. Rose likes Pebble Beach. Expect him to be an excellent course manager and play his way into contention come Sunday.
Sahith Theegala Storylines
Theegala comes into Pebble Beach with a ton of confidence.
He’s a California native, and his creativity around the greens and comfort in coastal wind make him a natural fit for the venue. He’s made every cut to start the year (4/4), and in those he has two Top-10s and a Top-20 finish.
Keep an eye on Theegala. He looks due for a win.
Collin Morikawa Storylines
Morikawa arrives at a course that highlights his greatest strength.
Small greens and a demanding approach make iron play a separator, and Morikawa’s precision gives him an advantage. If the rest of the game comes together, Pebble Beach sets up as a big opportunity for him.
Morikawa has finished in the Top-20 each of the last two years, and he’s looking to make an even bigger statement this year.
Tony Finau Storylines
Finau finished T-13 in last year’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am, so you know he can play this course.
Finau’s 2026 campaign has seen its ups and downs, but the flashes are there. He can compete with anyone. Pebble Beach gives him a chance to set the tone for the rest of the season. Performing well in a signature event can completely redirect the trajectory of a season, and we expect Finau to use that to fuel his play.
What to Watch
All of LAGC’s team members have something to play for, and many are riding a lot of momentum into this event. 2026 is already looking to be a special season for the team on TOUR.
Tune in to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on ESPN+, Golf Channel, CBS, and more this Thursday-Sunday.
