Two TGL clubs in vastly different places, Atlanta Drive GC and Jupiter Links Golf Club, will meet at SoFi Center on Monday evening. Each will be more than halfway through its regular season schedule when the night concludes.

Jupiter Links needs a win to keep its postseason hopes alive. Meanwhile, a win for Atlanta would all but mathematically assure them a spot in the postseason.

HOW TO WATCH: Atlanta Drive GC vs. Jupiter Links

Here are the top numbers and notes to know ahead of Atlanta Drive GC vs. Jupiter Links Golf Club, Monday at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.

NOT ALL BAD NEWS

While Jupiter Links is yet to break through with a victory in 2026, they have improved in several important statistics this season. Seven points in two matches easily outpaces the club’s average points per game last season (2.4). After hitting the green in regulation just 50% as a team last year, that number is up to 73% so far through 30 holes in ’26.

They are nearly 11 feet better, on average, when it comes to proximity to the hole, too (33’4” to 22’7”).

And they’re better around the greens. Jupiter got up-and-down successfully just 54.7% of the time last season. That number is up to 71.4% so far in 2026. Positive signs despite the defeats.

LENGTHY ISSUES

That said, Jupiter Links is a steep underdog on paper entering Monday, especially considering its performance on longer holes. Four holes are listed at 550 yards or longer on the scorecard for the match against Atlanta Drive. Since the beginning of last season, Jupiter is just 5-11-15 on holes 550-plus yards, good for a win rate of just 16.1%. Meanwhile, Atlanta is 16-12-21 on those holes, more-than-doubling Jupiter’s win percentage (32.7%).

Holes 2 (Stone & Steeple), 4 (Fore-O-Fore), 10 (The Spear) and 15 (Sterling) are all listed at 550 yards or longer for Monday.

HAMMER AND NAIL

Since opening night last season, no team has had better Hammer-related strategy and execution than Atlanta Drive GC. All-time, the defending champs lead all teams in Hammer points won (36), Hammer point differential (+23) and holes won via Hammer (24). In fact, the only other team in the league with a positive Hammer point differential is Los Angeles Golf Club, at +4.

No team has struggled more than Jupiter. Its -16 Hammer point differential since the beginning of 2025 is the worst among the six teams. Through two matches this season, Jupiter is at -4: four points won, eight points lost via the Hammer.

SINGLES SCENE

As dominant as Atlanta has been with the Hammer, it has been even more crushing to opponents in Singles. Atlanta has won 43.3% of its Singles holes since the beginning of the 2025 season, easily the highest rate of any team. It leads all clubs in Singles holes won (27), points won (38) and points differential (+23, second-best is, again, LAGC at +9).

Two of Atlanta’s three active players Monday have been especially good in Singles. Billy Horschel has hit the 10-win mark now (10-3-5 all-time) and remains TGL’s all-time leader in Singles points won with 16. Meanwhile, Chris Gotterup certainly has got the hang of things quickly, sweeping his Singles holes in his last match against The Bay Golf Club.

STUDYING THE SPEAR

The Spear has been played 16 times in TGL history so we now have a reasonably-sized dataset to analyze when it comes to tee shot strategy. With the pinch point on the hole sitting 281 yards from the tee box, 75% of players to date have opted to try and carry it. The other 25% of competitors have elected to lay back.

To this point, the less popular choice has actually resulted in a better win-loss record. The 8 players to play it safe have a winning record – 3-2-3. The more aggressive players have accrued a hole win-loss-tie mark of 9-10-7. Not terrible – but a 38% hole loss rate, noticeably higher than laying up (25% loss rate).

The Spear will be the 10th hole Monday as Chris Gotterup and Akshay Bhatia open up Singles. Gotterup has hit the tee shot at The Spear once and elected to lay back with a 5-iron. It will be Bhatia’s first tee shot in official play on the hole.
