The defending champion is out, courtesy of your very own Los Angeles Golf Club. Now, LAGC takes on Jupiter Links in the best-of-three Finals.
After an upset in last year's Semifinals, LAGC has clawed its way to the Finals in 2026. This time, it faces Jupiter Links Golf Club in a best-of-three Finals that begins Monday, March 23 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
For LAGC, this is unfinished business.
How the Finals Works
The Finals is a best-of-three series.
Each match will follow the same pattern as the regular season matches. If you need a refresher, here’s a breakdown:
TGL matches consist of 15 holes split into two sessions:
Triples (Holes 1-9):
Three players per team compete in alternate shot. They rotate shots throughout each hole — Player 1 tees off, Player 2 hits the approach, Player 3 putts, and so on until the hole is complete.
Singles (Holes 10-15):
Head-to-head battles. Each player plays two holes, competing against their respective opposing team player.
Scoring:
Every hole is worth 1 point. Fewest strokes wins the point. Tie the hole, nobody gets a point. Most points after 15 holes wins the match.
The Hammer:
Each team gets three Hammers per match. Throw it, and the hole doubles in value to 2 points when the Hammer is accepted. If declined, you forfeit the hole for 1 point. High risk, high reward.
Overtime:
If tied after 15 holes, teams compete in a best-of-three, closest-to-the-pin contest. First to win two chip-offs wins the match.

LAGC's Path to Redemption
LAGC has believed it is the best team in TGL since the very beginning. It secured the No.1 seed in last year’s playoffs, but were upset in the first round by New York Golf Club.
LAGC entered this year’s Semifinal match with a chip on its shoulder.
Tuesday night against Atlanta Drive, LAGC fell behind 3-0 early. Most teams would fold. LAGC didn't, outscoring Atlanta 5-0 over the final nine holes to secure a 6-4 victory and punch a ticket to the Finals.
And it was done without Collin Morikawa in the lineup. Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose carried the load. It was LAGC's first-ever playoff victory at SoFi Center, and it came when it mattered most.

LAGC's Finals Advantage
Justin Rose: No. 5 in the Official World Golf Ranking, and at 45 years old, you could argue he’s playing the best golf of his illustrious career. Rose also secured two of LAGC's three Singles points in its comeback win over Atlanta.
Collin Morikawa: Fresh off a trophy win at Pebble Beach. Collin's ball-striking is elite, and his confidence is high. Unfortunately, he's battling a back injury from THE PLAYERS Championship, but when healthy, he’s a force.
Tommy Fleetwood: Consistent all season with multiple top-5 finishes in PGA TOUR Signature Events.
Sahith Theegala: Off to the best start of his career in 2026. Multiple top-10 finishes, and his aggressive style is translating perfectly to TGL's fast-paced format.
