LAGC Family,

We hope the first round of the holiday season brought you great food, great time with family and loved ones, and hopefully… great time on a golf course.

December is a big month. TGL returns to prime time for Season 2!

But you should know by now… LAGC stays busy in the offseason — see what we’ve been up to, and read about some ways you can join in on the fun.

LOOKBACK

Where we’ve been, what we’ve done

Roosevelt Wine club

We tried our hand at the Roosevelt Wine Club, a social club that meets every Friday for a twilight round at Roosevelt Golf Course, some natural wines, and some good music.

Roosevelt is one of those classic Los Angeles tracks — tucked right into Griffith Park, it feels like an escape from the city even when you’re sitting right on top of Hollywood.

It’s a short, hilly 9-hole exec course. Peek through the trees on the 8th tee box, and you’ve got yourself a view of downtown LA, just a few miles away.

Pair that setting with food, drink, and music? Fantastic vibes all around… We WILL be back, so join us next time!

ICYMI – Golf in LA

LA golf is booming: here are a few things happening around the city

The Loop Series: TWO NEW EPISODES

We’ve been exploring SoCal golf’s hidden gems and historic courses alike — here’s where we went in November:

Navy Golf Course in Cypress, California

This is where a young Tiger Woods first learned the game. According to local legend, he shot 48 through nine holes at age three.

Designed by William F. Bell, the course began as a military-only track and today offers straightforward, accessible golf: wide fairways, approachable greens, and comfortable, but occasionally challenging winds off the coast.

The Ranch at Laguna Beach

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is a nine-hole escape tucked into Aliso Canyon, just steps from the ocean. It’s a par-32 course that rewards creativity with short par-4s, committed par-3s, and bunkers filled with recycled-glass sand.

The setting feels like mountain golf wrapped in coastal air, and the stay-and-play resort adds food, music, and charm. For under $100, it’s one of SoCal’s most scenic and soulful nine-hole rounds.

PLAYER & COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

Here’s what’s new with our guys

Last month brought some excitement — winning golf tournaments, running turkey trots, and getting up close to the action at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix highlight the penultimate month of the year.

Here’s what our team got up to.

Sahith Theegala

Joined us at the SCGA Jr Friend of Golf tournament supporting the grass roots efforts that helped get him to where he is today.

Sahith is probably taking some time to think about his wedding after his engagement to his now fiancee, Juju!

Tommy Fleetwood & Collin Morikawa

We had the chance to see Tommy and Collin in Florida ahead of Season 2. They got to check out the newly renovated green zone at SoFi, film some content, and chat about the future of LAGC and TGL. Both were amped to be back in SoFi and loved all of the new updates!

And who said golfers weren’t athletes? Collin and his Wife Kat were out and about on Thanksgiving, running the Turkey Trot 5K - a piece of cake for Kat… maybe not so much for our guy Collin.

Meanwhile, Tommy participated in The Skins Game at Panther National, taking home a cool $1.7M! This just caps off the insane run he’s had to finish the year: winning the FedEx Cup Championship, steering Team Europe to a Ryder Cup victory, winning the DP World Championship (getting to do so in front of his son), and recently being named the #3 player in the world — the highest ranking of his career!

Christmas will be nice in the Fleetwood house.

Justin Rose

If you didn’t know about Rosey’s car obsession, now you know. Justin enjoyed the F1 action up close at the Vegas Grand Prix on November 22nd.

Check him out, showing his support for team Lando. He’s now looking forward to competing in the Hero World Challenge with 20 of the world’s best.
