Los Angeles Golf Club Announces Anže Kopitar as Newest Investor, expanding LAGC's reach and helping to connect fans across sports, continents, and cultures.

LAGC - Dec. 19, 2025 – Los Angeles Golf Club, the inaugural team of the TGL presented by SoFi, announced today that Anže Kopitar, captain of the Los Angeles Kings, two-time Stanley Cup Champion, and six-time NHL All-Star, has joined LAGC as an investor.

Anže is more than one of the most respected names in hockey, he’s also a passionate golfer, a long-time Angeleno, and a leader whose values mirror LAGC’s commitment to excellence and community.. His investment deepens LAGC’s mission to grow the game through culture, creativity, and community.

“Team sports in general are fun to watch. I'm a big fan of the shot clock and fast-paced format.” Kopitar said. “This is an exciting game, league, and format, and being able to represent our city and be involved is a great honor and something I'm looking forward to.”
